Mass intentions: Kindly submit your Mass intentions by Thursday 12:00 to be included in the Masses for the following week.

The Rosary is prayed every day after the weekday morning Mass. All are welcome and encouraged to participate.

MARRIAGES: 6 months’ notice is required. The marriage preparation course is available both in person or online. Couples must make an appointment to see Fr Joe.

BAPTISMS: Parents and Godparents are required to attend the online preparation before the Sacrament is administered.  Please contact the Parish Office to book. Baptisms take place on first and third Sunday of the month.

A Request from SSVP
The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is looking for a volunteer crocheter to assist the Diepsloot Design ladies. The ladies in this group of 12, crochet items to sell at markets, helping them become more self-sufficient. We need a volunteer to help the group with patterns and new skills and finding possible outlets for their business.
Our motto is to give a hand-up rather than a hand-out. This is our aim with these ladies. Please phone Marian 083 626 4842 to find out more details.

Prayer for peace in Southern Africa

O God of justice and love, bless us the people of Southern

Africa and help us to live in your peace.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love; where there is injury let me sow pardon; where there is discord let me sow harmony.
Divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be understood, as to understand, to be loved as to love, to receive sympathy as to give it.
For it is in giving that we shall receive, in pardoning that we shall be pardoned, in forgetting ourselves that we shall find unending peace with others.
We ask this through Jesus Christ your Son Our Lord. Amen.
