The tags with ages will be on the Christmas tree for the next few weeks and your generosity will be appreciated.

Please stick the tag onto your gift and return it to the boxes in the foyer.

The past few years have truly reflected our Parish’s heart-felt support and we trust this year will be the same.

REMINDER – no battery- operated toys and a new toy please, for the dignity of the child.

VOCATION REFLECTIONS

“What ought we to do?” the crowds ask John, and he sends them to fulfill their calling. Doing the ordinary extraordinarily well is a step toward welcoming Jesus. (Luke 3: 10-18).

Prayer for ADVENT

God of hope, be with us on our Advent journey.
Keep our hearts aflame with the hope of Christmas.
Help us to welcome Christ into our homes and situations,
into our hearts and into the hidden parts of our lives.
Help us to put you as the centre and focus of our lives, for sometimes we are distracted by the snares of the world.
God of majesty and might, help us to receive the gift of salvation which you offer us through the incarnation of Jesus. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.  Amen.
