From Caritas, thank you: Our Parish Vision is being lived out every day and is especially visible when you participate actively in the events and services. Our Lord’s Presence is tangible. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Caritas market last weekend the warm, happy environment it was, by sharing your many gifts and funds so generously. Thank you to all the stallholders; the bakers and makers of cakes and treats; the teams who served; and Cristina who organized, cajoled, and led her cohorts. Your love and support are truly appreciated. The proceeds (R32 000) of the cake sale will be added to the collection for the Pensioners and Children’s Christmas parcels. VOCATION REFLECTION:
In You, Lord, I have found my peace. Is the Lord calling me to be a peacemaker? (Psalm 131)
PRAYER FOR THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED:
O God,
in Your mercy and compassion,
we humbly pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ,
for our relatives, friends and benefactors
who have passed from this life.
We ask Your mercy,
through the intercession of Blessed Mary, ever Virgin,
and all of Your Saints,
that they may be joined into everlasting life with You and may have a share in Your eternal happiness.
We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
AMEN.
