Saturday 6.00pm and Sunday 7.30am,  10.00am  3.00pm (in Zulu/Sotho)

CONFESSIONS: Saturday: 8.30–9.00 am, 5.00 pm-5.45 pm, anytime on request

Readings:  Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle C: page 1171 in the Daily Missal and page 948 in the  Sunday Missal.

MARRIAGES:  6 months’ notice is required and the marriage preparation course is available online. Couples must make an appointment to see Fr Keith to book.

BAPTISMS: Parents and Godparents are required to attend the online preparation before the Sacrament is administered.  Please contact the Parish Office to book.

Following Jesus sometimes means being rejected by others. Speak an encouraging word this week to someone you know who is trying to follow Jesus through the fire. Say a prayer for those who are discerning a call to priesthood or religious life.

PRAYER FOR UNBORN LIFE O GOD OF LIFE AND LOVE, you have given us the power to bring new life into the world.  But all too often a mother’s womb, that should be a nursery of life, becomes instead a place of its destruction.  Help us to remove this evil and ensure respect for all life made in your image and likeness, called to fulfil its promise on this earth, and destined to find a home with you for all eternity.  We ask this through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord.  AMEN.
