PRAYER FOR THE SICK

GOD, OUR FATHER, Bless and help all who are sick.  Give them courage and patience, endurance and cheerfulness to accept weakness or pain.  Give them peace of mind, which will help towards a speedy recovery.  Give to the doctors and nurses and all that attend them, skill in their hands, wisdom in their minds, but above all sympathy and gentleness in their hearts.  Help us Lord to leave our loved ones in the care of skilful people, who have the gift of healing in their hands.  Lord Jesus come to us and to our loved ones this day that we will know that your loving and healing hands have never lost their kind and loving touch.  AMEN.
