VOCATION REFLECTION: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love! Send forth workers into your vineyard. May some of our parishioners choose to serve you by becoming priests, brothers and sisters. (John 20:19-23)

PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

Come, Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful,
and enkindle in us the fire of your love.
Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe.
Spirit of right judgment and courage,
guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision
to follow Jesus’ way of love.
Spirit of knowledge and reverence,
help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy
in our everyday dealings with one another.
Holy Spirit of God, inspire our faith, hope and love into new action each day.
Fill our lives with wonder and awe in your presence.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
