Every year, just before Easter, an appeal is made for marshmallow Easter Eggs to be donated by the Parish Office. As the weeks go by the foyer of the church is filled with piles of boxes. This year about 200 boxes of Easter eggs were collected and this has an approximate value of R8000-00. These were collected each week and then distributed to those children who would otherwise not have enjoyed this Easter tradition.
The donations went to the Phiri parish in Soweto, Bona Lesedi, The Ursulines Missions, and the Winterveld and Martindale parishes.
These donations are all made anonymously and represents such generosity from these members of the parish.
